Who is johny mellow?

Maillot jaune (maillot pronounced similarly to “mellow” and jaune pronounced similarly to “john”) is French for yellow jersey.  And for those of you who know something about the sport of cycling, the overall leader of many bike races, most notably the Tour de France, is awarded the yellow jersey.  Maillot jaune is a symbol of a great feat, won through blood, sweat and tears and the endurance to conquer all.
